To tell you the truth, the monkeys were simply hungry.

This work is a continuation of a previous piece (self-portrait: memories of Mahungu), anchored within the framework of my mythology.
The monkeys noticed the change and decided to steal a banana and eat it.
This work engages with the myths of my universe and the various symbols associated with it, revealing to each person the stages of their initiatory journey and exploring the mysteries of their own existence. It is a nomadic and wonderful adventure.
In these works, I create a space of wandering, allowing the spectator to realize their own misery, ignorance, and lack of perspective on the world, which they struggle to understand because they are focused on themselves.
The spectator wanders within this space, encountering the unknown. In search of meaning, their thoughts drift through the corridors of their mind.
